Record Store Day 2015

Record Store Day is on Saturday 18th April, a national day of celebrating independence in the music industry. This is a day to raise awareness and heighten support in our country’s record stores and record labels, studios and musicians.

Music is at the core of everything we do at Sublow. Our studio is rarely quiet; we work best to tunes blasting out of our speakers!

Sublow Co-founder Beno is a Dj himself, signed to British record label ‘Good Street Records’. They are an independent footwork and bass music label that exists to release music from little known and lesser-represented artists.

We are keen vinyl fans, always have been and always will be. The current resurgence of vinyl is so exciting to see. The tactile nature of vinyl, records and “proper DJing” is in our opinion irreplaceable, so a day set out to celebrate this art form is cause for us to celebrate. We have lots planned for the day so keep an eye on our social media challenges as we slowly reveal what’s in store!
